“A Love That Was Never Meant to Be”
I saw her for the first time at the coffee shop,
Her smile was like sunshine on a rainy day.
I remember the way she laughed—genuine, free.
And in that moment, I knew... she was someone I could never forget.
We started talking.
The conversations flowed like a river, uninterrupted, unstoppable.
We laughed at silly jokes, talked about our dreams, and discovered we had so much in common.
But somehow, in the back of my mind, I always knew that this was too perfect to last.
Our worlds were different. Our paths were separate.
And no matter how much I wanted it, this love wasn’t meant to be.
One night, as we sat under the stars,
She said, “I’m sorry. I think we’re better off as friends.”
It wasn’t a shock, but it still felt like my heart was shattering into a million pieces.
I never told her how much I loved her—
Because maybe, just maybe, it was better that way.
Now, every time I see a coffee cup or hear that laugh,
I remember her.
The girl who was never meant to be mine, but will always hav
e a piece of my heart.
